100KPRODUCT
The philosophy

A product should be worth the business you have to build around it.

Selling a physical product takes more than money. It takes suppliers, samples, packaging, freight, inventory, advertising, returns, customer service, and months of attention.

That is a lot to give a product that can only become a small opportunity.

The 100K bar

So we set a bar before the real commitment begins.

For us, that bar is a real chance at $100,000 in yearly sales.

We are not predicting that your product will do $100K. We are asking whether there is enough evidence to believe it reasonably could.

If there's no real chance of meaningful sales, the product may not deserve the money, time, and effort it's about to ask from you.

$100K isn't about the price you charge.

Different products need very different amounts sold to get there. That's why price and profit per sale matter as much as demand.

$50

Revenue is only half the test

A product can reach $100K and still be a bad business.

If shipping is expensive, returns are high, ads eat the margin, or you need to sell thousands of cheap units to get there, $100K can mean a lot of work for very little left over.

A 100K Product needs both: a real chance at meaningful sales, and enough profit left when you get there to make it worth doing.

$100K is the bar. Margin is what makes it worth clearing.

Why set the bar before you start?

Because problems usually show up after the money's already been spent.

You discover that advertising is too expensive after the inventory arrives.
You discover that returns are higher than expected after hundreds of orders.
You discover that shipping destroys the margin after the packaging is finished.
You discover that the market is smaller than you thought after months of work.

100K Product is designed to ask those questions while the product is still cheap to change, rethink, or walk away from.

The standard is simple

Before you build a business around a product, ask three questions.

Can it get there?

Is there a real chance of $100K in yearly sales at this price?

Is it worth getting there?

Will there be money left after shipping, returns, and the cost of getting a customer?

Does it deserve the bet?

Is the risk reasonable for the money, time, and effort this will take?

The 100K Test

Put your product through the test before you place the order.

We research the market, economics, competition, logistics, and major risks behind your product and give you a clear Proceed, Review, or Hold decision.
